I am looking for two types of external enclosures for different purposes. I would appreciate any links or suggestions.

Type 1. - Holds two hard drives. ATA or SATA is fine. USB or FireWire is fine. Should look decent. RAID would be nice, but it is not necessary.

Type 2. - I'm not sure what these types of cases are called. Someone posted a link to them before, and I bookmarked and later erased the bookmark. They look like miniature PC cases and have PC-like power supplies. They can hold both optical disks (5.25"), hard disks (3.5"). I believe that they were standard ATA connections inside with firewire connectors. I do not think that they were NAS boxes, but maybe they were.

The enclosures mentioned above have an external power supply as do these :

MiniG by TransIntl...

The MiniG comes in 1 , 2 and 4 drive size both with and without drives
