So I saw the other thread and went through, compiling all the apps people suggested.

I'll list them here/describe them. If you have more to suggest that aren't already on the list, feel free to post and I'll keep updating the thread. It's annoying to keep going back through the other thread and finding each app.

3g unrestrictor / My3g - let you use things that are normally wifi only (such as facetime) on your 3g network

5 Icon Dock - 5 icons on the dock

AndroidLock - Theme

AppSync - backup apps

Backgrounder - real multitasking...lets apps run in the background - can kill battery if you let it do every app

BiteSMS - Quick reply, customizable everything, delayed sending, and much more for SMS

Haptic Pro - settings pane to customize activation sources, trigger events, and vibrate duration

iAdKiller - block iads in apps

iBlackList - enables you to select from who you want to receive calls and hide messages

iFile - file manager with capabilites to email, edit, delete, copy, cut, paste, rename, view, compress, uncompress, install and transfer files.

Infinifolders - no limit to # of apps/folder

iProtect - lock any specific app

LockInfo - Lets you access mail/sms/phone/whatever to see notifications without unlocking your phone

Make it Mine - change carrier logo

MyWi4.0 or TetherMe - Free tethering...miwi is $20 and allows for wifi hotspots and tetherme only works with usb/bluetooth but is $2

Nexus One Live Wallpaper (via Winterboard) - a popular theme

QuickSMS - enables quickreply from any screen, has less features than bitesms

Remove Recents - clears out the multitask list

SBSettings - Quick access to many toggles such as Bluetooth, Wifi, 3g, ect

Spring Flash - enable LED light to be turned on through activator (i suggest using the double press of the sleep/wake button)

Ultrasn0w - unlock your phone for other carriers

vWallpaper - enables adding video wallpapers

Wi-Fi Sync - sync to itunes without plugging in your phone

Winerboard - Enables you to add themes to your phone; some people say it slows/clog up your phone

It’s better to get Infinidock than Five Icon Dock (you can have 5, 6, you name it on the dock). Also Iconoclasm is better than Five Column or Five Row springboard (neither of which are listed).

Does AndroidLock work on OS4?

I tried downloading it through Cydia (both AndroidLock and AndroidLock XT) and they wouldn't work.

If you have a working version, please share :D

Am i the only one that is having problems with iconoclasm? I mean every single time I remove or add an app from a folder, i go directly to safe mode when i have iconoclasm. It's so annoying because I am forced to use the iblank app.

I have an additional question. What are the choices for THE TOP 4 MUST HAVES from the list above?

Thanks for compiling this list.

what exactly is vwallpaper?? is it an individual app? I searched in cydia but could not find it.
