Idea:

Let's divide and conquer. With over a million downloads of Lion and this forum obviously VERY popular it is getting impossible to find what you are looking for in this big OS X Lion forum.

How about the powers that be subdivide this thing up to mirror Apple's support site as so:

OS X Lion - General
OS X Lion - Server
OS X Lion - Apps:
Boot Camp
Mail
Safari
Mac App Store
Time Machine
FaceTime for Mac
Address Book
iSync
QuickTime
iCal
iChat

Thoughts? Anyone agree? Bump it if you do (that is if bumping is allowed...)

Woah... hold on there. Let's not get carried away. You are suggesting 14 forums to replace 1? A bit overkill

It might make it nice if you are looking for one specific thing, but there are a lot of people that just browse to help people or to engage in Mac related discussions. People wouldn't take the time to go through each 14 forums individually and thus the more obscure forum topics would get zero love and thus minimal responses. Say right now the Lion forum has 1,000 viewers, if your divide came to fruition it would look a bit like this...

OS X Lion - General (700 viewing)
OS X Lion - Server (50 viewing)
OS X Lion - Apps: (150 viewing)
Boot Camp (13 viewing)
Mail (30 viewing)
Safari ( 20 viewing)
Mac App Store (20 viewing)
Time Machine (10 viewing)
FaceTime for Mac (11 viewing)
Address Book (3 viewing)
iSync (5 viewing)
QuickTime (6 viewing)
iCal (22 viewing)
iChat (13 viewing)

The forum will get less and less visitors from the huge amount you have today, and posts too, once a few weeks pass and the excitement of Lion wears down.
