suggestion for external disc drives for imac

since the imac will not have a disc drive, i'll have to rely on an external one. personally i don't care that much about this change but once in a while i have to use a old disc or dvd.
apple superdrive is 79$ - it doesn't have terribly good reviews on the apple.com
are there any other choices you might recomment?

any of these should work. I use one that is basically just an LG desktop tower DVD burner in an external usb case, no issues in OSX

the speed of Disc burning won't saturate USB 2.0 so there is no reason to look for a faster interface like usb3 or thunderbolt.

I'd prefer to have a drive that could burn BD as well as DVD/CD, preferably utilizing USB 3.0 or thunderbolt.

Optical media drives cannot even saturate a USB2 port. USB3 or Thunderbolt would just cost more and give you no benefit at all.
