I'm looking for a couple iPhone cables. The old ones I have don't fit my coast, only the new style of cable does, so I want to grab a couple new ones. It seems cheap ones are all over, but does anyone have experience buying them?

I'm also interested if anyone knows of the best place to get inexpensive iPhone cables. Need to get several for Christmas gifts. Doesn't need to be <$2, just the cheapest working kind. Read bad reviews on the 87 cent ones on Amazon.

With the Lifeproof case, most of the non-OEM cables work at first, but since you have to remove them by pulling on the cable, after a while they separate. In fact, when you take the new cables and pull lightly on them you can see the movement which isn't there on the OEM cables. I've tried putting a few drops of Crazy Glue or Fusion around the sleeve and where the sleeve goes into the block; that seems to provide more stability and hopefully they will last longer.

I'd second Monoprice. Great quality and good price. I've gone the super cheap route and have on/off luck - Monoprice hasn't ever let me down.

We stock cables,http://www.lifeinplastiq.com/node/125/46. And I've tested and know the quality on our cables are 100%. Otherwise, I've bought from monoprice before too and their stuff are usually pretty good value for money. But I haven't tested their iPhone cables before so I can't comment.

Sellers on Amazon though, you'll have to beware. They're cheap for a reason and I wouldn't plug my $700 iPhone with one of those.

Oh, and be sure to use the 35% off code we have for MR forums, "mcrmrsforum35".

Not exactly the cheapest solution but I picked up one at Walgreens for $8.99 in green. They also had red, blue, & yellow to choose from. I didn't have to pay for shipping but tax took it to just over 10 bucks.

You can get these for $2 on eBay in the same colors as well.
