Yo mac mini people,
I'm getting a mac mini m1 in a couple weeks, and I am beyond excited! But one thing I do want to figure out before hand is my keyboard/mouse situation. I have a little itx windows pc for some legacy applications, but I don't want to have mess around with the cables under my desk every time I have to use the pc switching the peripherals around. Does anyone with an m1 mini use a usb switch like the amazon link I dropped at the bottom of this post, or should I look at a better solution? I've heard from some people that most kvm switches totally suck. If any of you have a brand or something you'd recommend for sharing a mouse and keyboard with an m1 mini it would be appreciated. Also, I can't use bluetooth peripherals because windows hates everything not hardwired, and I'd rather not fight the windows box anymore, I'm just gonna let it sit there.
Here's the switch I'm looking at - https://www.amazon.com/Switcher-Sel...=1612493677&sprefix=km+switch+,aps,207&sr=8-8
