Greetings,

I recently picked up used a Rolling Stone Magazine box set. It's files of every Rolling Stone Magazine printed for decades. Pretty cool stuff if you're into this sort of thing.

My problem: I can't find a way to read .djvu in El Capitan. I've tried internet searches and the app store (I downloaded two pay programs that didn't work.)

Any help or suggestions on offer would be appreciated?

Have you tried DjVuLibre/View please?

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work. I receive two errors on the same message box: "Cannot decode document" and "Unknown document format. Can't decode"

Have you considered maybe that the error notice you are getting might be accurate and there is a problem with the document. Try opening a completely different document.

From what I can find it appears the issue involves the DRM on the discs (DVDKA). The publisher released 3 magazine sets: Playboy, Rolling Stone and the New Yorker. They didn't update their drm/reader, so it all falls butter-side down.

Kind of explains why I picked it up cheap at a used record store!
