Hi Guys.

I'm looking for a good dust and scratch removal program for scanned pictures.

I managed to find a copy of the Polaroid Dust and Scratch Remover for Windows (circa 2002), and it doesn't seem to do the job. It picks up none of the actual dust or scratches (on any settings) and only picks out parts of the photograph that are supposed to be there.

I'm currently using Silverfast and their dust and scratch remover, which works fantastically for slides and negatives, but not for regular scans. I have a slide scanner that's supported, but not a full size scanner.

Unfortunately, I don't have photoshop yet, but I do have Aperture 2. So, I'm willing to look into an Aperture plugin if there is one, but a standalone program would probably be the best for now.

I've scoured the Internet and I can't seem to find anything...
