I've been using the Apple earbuds for a while now but they keep falling out of my ears (I have small ears) and start feeling very uncomfortable after a while. So I'm in the market for some new, good sound quality earbuds preferably in the $30-$40 range, $50 at the most. I listen to both easy listening soft music and dubstep/loud bass music as well. Any suggestions?

I love Etomics (spelling may be wrong) Er6i's, but they are expensive. I recently went with some Skull Candy ones in white which come with the multiple touch button and mic same as the OEM ones for pausing, restarting and changing songs, but have a better in ear fit and comfort. Sound quality is acceptable and they are pretty cheap.

Klipsch iS4

He meant to say klipsch S4i and yes I agree for the price they sound really good. I have a pair of those and the klipsch x10i.

Good luck.

The Sennheiser CX 300 or 400s. I have had the 300s for ages, and find them very good (even compared to one of their top 'at home' designs). It does depend on how they fit you, i think - i had some much more expensive Etymotics, which i did not like at all.

Try NuForce earphones. A bit over your price range but worth every penny IMHO. Very musical, very comfortable. You can find them on Amazon.

Sennheiser CX 300 IIs fit in my small ears and feel comfortable

I'll just add that the build quality is very good as well, especially at the headphone end - much better than the trendy-but-crap brands.

I suggest Sennheiser CX300 II or higher model as well! Atm I am using Skullcandy Titan as I lost my Sennheisers. Skullcandy offers great bass and they are reaaaally loud! but they don't feel that "rich" as the sennheisers

+2, I have the S4i and love them, they'll work with the ios and can use them as a headset, sound excellent, have received a lot of awards, I love them!

Are the s4i's or Sennheiser's noise canceling/isolating? I've read some reviews, and it looks like some of them say that the s4i's are too heavy on bass while the Sennheiser's aren't that great when using them at workouts? Any thoughts on this?

I use my s4i specifically for working out. Running. Weight lifting etc. I have my x10i for anything else. They aren't too bassy in my opinion. They deliver highs and lows very decently and provide adequate isolation. Good luck. These headphones are a great deal for the price in my opinion. I bought a pair for my brother for working out and my gf for working out.

Excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject, but where can I find the Klipsch s4i's for around $50 as that was my initial budget as posted in the first post?

Or is there a different model that sells for around $40-$50?

I have SkullCandy (yeah, I know, spare me the lecture) Titans. They actually have decent sound, but can get a bit bassy and aren't great for workouts, as they are pretty heavy and can occasionally fall out with a lot of movement. I just figured I'd make an input since I have experience, and they're in your price range.

go for s4i

Get the V-Moda Bass Freq. They're a no brainer purchase for under $20. Just take care of them, they aren't the most durable earbuds.
