Suggestions for fixing scratches on plastic?

Does anyone have any suggestions for lessening scratch/ding marks on plastic? My kitten just gnawed a ton of tiny gashes into a watch that was gifted to me from my brother

My home remedy of lemon pledge for dings/scratches on plastic no longer works as they removed the wax in the product. The watch is waterproof so I don't know if the pledge remedy would have even worked through water. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have you tried Brasso (or any such equivalent)?

It's a fine abrasive metal (but works fine on plastic) polishing compound, that should, with a little time and patience, polish out the scratches, I used it to buff out rather large scratches on the Apple logo on the side of an old Power Mac G3 years ago, and it works a treat, removed all traces of 1-2mm deep, 5cm long scratches and left the logo with an absolutely perfect shine.

Just make sure the plastic is of the coloured and not the painted type though, otherwise you'll just polish off the colour.
