suggestions for second monitor for 21.5" iMac

Hello,

Am researching a second monitor to use with a new quad-core 21.5" iMac that I will purchase soon.

Would like a calibrated 19" to 22" LED backlight monitor to position vertically beside the iMac.

My budget is high (up to $500 and will consider more) as I will be using the monitor all day. Ideally it won't come with speakers etc. that I don't need.

I do websites using content management systems, graphic editing and some video editing.

All your suggestions will be appreciated!

Look into a Dell Ultrasharp IPS display. You can get the 23" U2312HM or the 21.5" U2212HM for under $300. Both LED and both have a stand capable of turning into portrait.

Just picked up the U2212HM and am very pleased with the overall experience but am having a bit of trouble adjusting to the non-glossy display.
