Due to the recent shutdowns because of COVID-19, I’ve found myself needing to do some remote work and teaching.

I need to be able to film and stream using my iPhone 11 Pro, but I need some help with mic suggestions, mini-tripod suggestions, and maybe a suggested light.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful!

OK, for the tripod, phone holder and mic I HIGHLY recommend this Shure kit. I have it and it works wonderfully. The sound is great IMO.

For the light I recommend the Lume Cube 2 and the barn doors they also sell. I have the light and think it is great, especially because I can add on the diffuser and get a softer light. I have expensive huge professional light kits and this small little light is basically a mini version.

You will most likely need a mini tripod for the light. I will tell you what I am using, although there are a lot of options. I have the following for the light:
Mini tripod feet (I don’t have these exactly, but similar)
PgyTech Grip (this is nice cause you can raise up the light)
tackform adapter & a gopro mount (this helps to angle down the light. so sometimes to get a nice light on someone, you might raise the light higher than their head and angle it down to get a more flattering look. The shadow will be below their chin, making them look better. I have tons of experience with lighting. It might be best to position the light behind you on say the right side and then have a white board in front of you on your left side. Then point the light with the barn doors controlling spill over against the white board bouncing it on you. If you are sitting down say at a table. Then you will get nice light on you and you won't be looking at a bright light. Whatever you do, I don’t recommend having the light hit you straight on.)

Hope I helped (spend your money).

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate those suggestions. For now, those are little bit more high end than I need. I ended up a Boya shotgun mic to plug into my phone; I opted to keep my Polaroid tripod and updated my Glif (I like the 2nd gen more; feels heftier than the plastic one with the spring inside); and I have a cold shoe mount on the way today.

My needs ended up being simpler than I thought, but if I really enjoy this, I may upgrade to nice equipment.

Thanks again for the reply!
