i currently have a 120gb hd on my mbp. i'd like to upgrade it to something more like 250-300.
i'm not a gamer or video editor. i use my computer for day to day tasks, word processing/spreadsheets, internet, and RAW photo editing.
i wouldn't mind being able to access/save information quickly, but i have no idea if that's the hard drive speed or what (sorry, not really a computer tech).
so anyway, i was looking for suggestions on what you guys/gals thought.

also, how do you go about installing them? i work on cars and things like cell phones/cameras so unless it involves soldering i think i might be able to have a go at it if it's simply small screws and things like that.

thanks!!

thanks.
is that the going price for the size of hard drives i'm looking for? i thought they were a little cheaper than that?

instructions don't look terribly difficult. what would a place charge to do the install?

LAPTOP harddrive, sure a regular 3.5" 320gb is prolly about 75 bucks, they have actualy come down quite a bit, they were $199 when they first came out 2-3 months ago

pro install? $150? maybe? not sure
