Looking forward to Superman to see if they can resurrect the series as well as they did for Batman last summer. Otherwise, I don't know if X-Men III will be good, since Singer left to do, well, Superman instead of this installment. ;) MI:3 looks like your mindless adrenaline-filled action movie, so I don't expect it to be much better than MI:2 (which wasn't very good either).

Regardless, I'll still be seeing all three...

The DaVinci Code -must
mission impossible 3 - must
must have friends (is that how it's wordered)- must

see again:
failure to launch

akeelah and the bee
hard candy
cars
davinci code
mission impossible 3
over the hedge
a scanner darkly
an inconvenient truth

some of those are prolly already out, lol, like hard candy. Oooh that trailer is so scary when you watch it in slow mo..

NOOOOOOOO!!!! He eats placentas for God sakes!

Anyway Shard, why are you going to see it if you think it's going to be as bad as MI:2? You said it yourself that it'll be "mindless."

Um.....Tom Cruise eats placenta. I think I'd rather watch him eat placenta than be in another Mission Very Possible.

Oh, my movies:
- X-Men
- Superman

I don't care much about the rest.

Um there's not really very many.

The DaVinci Code - just because I want to see the adaptation.
Superman - though I'm a bit dubious of them ruining a classic.
X-Men III - Was initially looking forward to it because the first too were great, but as ~Shard~ mentioned Singer left so I'm not so sure now.

That's about it really.

so this doesn't specify if it is in theatres or not.

What i can't wait to see this summer is Sympathy for Lady Vengence

Definitely +1.

I'm also looking forward to A Scanner Darkly, as I've always loved Phillip K. Dick. On the flip side, I can't stand Keanu Reeves, and Richard Linklater seems kinda hit and miss lately.

I was planning on seeing Ghost Rider until the date got moved again. A Feb release seems like they are dooming it to failure. It is much more of a summer movie than winter or spring.

I do plan on seeing Cars in the theater (maybe X-III as well) and waiting on others to come to video (Over the Hedge - good comic strip, Superman).

Totally pumped for Superman. Not sure what I think of Ruth playing the man of steel, but the pics and storyline are soooo frickin sweet.

Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Johnny Depp. What more needs to be said?

Miami Vice. Looks good. Despite Collin Ferrell.

Kinda like a car crash I guess, you just can't turn away... ;) Nah, I'll go to it for an excuse to turn my brain off for a couple hours and enjoy the drivel. I did the same for Terminator 3 when that was released too, knowing full well what I was getting myself into... ;)

Just Scanner Darkly (saw a trailer of that ages ago, thought it looked interesting. I've done bits of Rotoscoping before so I know the drill) and X-Men 3.

Not really a film guy. Too long have I felt cheated at what Hollywood calls entertainment these days.

MI3
Pirates of the Carribean
Cars

Thats probably it unless something else comes out.

And this friday, I plan on going to see The Sentinel w/ Keifer Sutherland, Michael Douglas and Eva Longoria.

I didn't know it was being released. Was going to get the DVD anyways. But I may not watch it till I go to the theater. Haven't bothered to read reviews, but I hear it is a lot different than Oldboy and Mr. Vengence.

Europe got it first? New York and LA? We got Oldboy here so I hope we get Vengeance.
I rarely go to the theater anymore unless it's art house. The megaplexes have becoming unbearable. Too many people yelling at the screen. Although that can be a good thing if the movie is really bad.

After George Reaves' and Steve Reeves' plight, I sure hope Brandon Routh knows what he's doing.

Basic Instinct 2.. I'm 17 so only saw the first one a few weeks ago - Brilliant!

Can't wait to see the sequel, love the QuickTime trailer for it!
