Running 1.1.3 when ever i turn on my ipod i have to run any app for the theme to load any one know about this??

Never encountered it, but try re-installing summerboard

Or try restarting the springboard

How often do you turn off your ipod?
 
I turn off my ipod when ever i leave it. How much power does just screen off nothing else going use up
