Sunday early afternoon lines

I was thinking of trying to get an ipad2 tomorrow but don't want to miss church. Does anyone think that if I get to an apple store tomorrow in the early afternoon I might get lucky with a mid-morning delivery that didn't get unpacked until after the store room guys have their lunch break? Also, I'm in New jersey, where most apple stores are closed on Sundays....do you think they would open up just for me? It Was 70 outside yesterday but it might get cooler. I'm thinking of not wearing my winter jacket but layering up instead....

Maybe you should get together with TriApple, maybe you could wait in line together. Give the store a call, I am sure they will open just for you. Remember to dress in layers.

I'd have a get together but I am afraid there'd be a line. I know I didn't tell you where this get together would happen, but that's not information anyone needs to be able to guess if there'd be a line for iPads, so it's not needed in this situation either.

Would your god not hear your prayers from outside the Apple store and send an employee over to open specifically for you?

You must have not seen my avitar, I'm an atheist so I have no god to pray to.
 
you wont get any if not in line...They hand tickets out here starting at 7am and they actually start selling prior to 9. THey only get about 20-30 and all different but no At&t they had about 10 64 gig wifi all white this am

Yeah, you should definitely go. Make sure you report back here on Monday and let us know how it worked out.
 
Why don't you go and preach to all the scalpers in line. If you don't go to jail or get your butt kicked, you may end up getting an iPad.
 
To answer the OP's question, yes...I would try

Others here have said that they walked in at random times and found that they did in fact have iPad 2's

So, worth a try
 
Waited this morning. Last one in line to get a 64GB wifi in white. They handed out cards to us waiting in line. Apple Store in Park City Mall, Lancaster, PA
 
I got one this morning at The Columbia, MD store, I was 13 out of 50 people. When apple came out they gave out 43 tickets and that was that

Happy owner of a 32 gb black iPad 2
