I recently installed latest version of Dropbox app for OS X (2.10.46). It works fine and file syncing is good but I have annoying problem with Dropbox icon in Finder.
As you now in Finder top bar you can add or delete icon from toolbar.
So, there it is, Dropbox icon. I "right-clicked" there and I removed that icon but every time I close all Finder windows and then open one this icon is there again. And again and again.
I do not need this icon there. How can I remove it?

Right click in the grey space where my arrow is then pick Customize Toolbar from the dropdown. Now drag the Dropbox thingy off the toolbar. Then click done.

Yep I did it but as I said after closing all Finder windows this icon appears again automatically.

I apologize. I misread that you had already tried that.

I'm not having that issue, but it looks like others on Yosemite are from this Dropbox forum post. The third post down has a workaround and maybe that will fix you up.

Perfect @Weaselboy this workaround helped me. Thank you!

BTW this is good example of app that probably wouldn't be accepted to the AppStore.
