His team? He hopped on the bandwagon 2 weeks ago when they won the AFC Championship. He never posted once in the NFL thread before then.
And don't give me that "typical pats fan" ********. All of the real pats fans congratulated the Giants on winning. However, outside of the few guys who posted regularly in the NFL topic, nobody in the "giants win" thread said anything about the Pats playing a hard fought game or anything.
I didn't know that posting in an NFL thread on a Mac forum was the definition of a true fan. (;
Funny, everyone I talked to at work said the same thing. "It wasn't any good until the last 15 min, which were excellent."
All I know is that whoever bet on the Giants banked yesterday.
Another thing, why would anyone expect the ads to be any good this year when they were awful last year?
I don't know what game you were watching but I was on the edge of my seat the whole night. And how exactly should the Pats have won. The Giants are the team that out played them. I can see if it was a blown call that gave the Giants the win but that was not the case. We have enough of these threads. I hate the Bears simply because of the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Plus, I think when people say "the Pats should have won" in this case, they mean they should have played better than they did. Brady's accuracy was pretty wonky all through the game, even when he didn't get hit.

That was by far one of the best games I've seen...Superbowl or not. It will be filed as one of the top five Superbowls without question. I was on the edge of my seat the entire game.
Also, I am a Pats fan and I give much credit to the Giants. They deserved the win since they basically outplayed the Pats almost the entire game. I'm also glad Strahan got his ring.

Sorry but I am all abotu a long hard fought football game.. high scoring is not everythign to me I think this is by far one of the best if not the best superbowl I have EVER watched in my lifetime.
The defence on both sides was GREAT.. the offense was stopped on both sides and the Giants just came up with the bigger plays when needed to win the game...
I am more of a Pats fan HOWEVER I was routing for the giants for a few reasons..
1. After 15years of dedication to the same team Michael Strahan FINALLY got hsi superbowl ring.
2. I have always considered the Pats to be so high of a caliber team that watching them DESTROY everyone they play aginst is not fun anymore..
3. I did not want to see anyone go undefeated anymore...
