Easy question. I bought my Powerbook G4 about 3 years ago and cant remember which drive I got. Without breaking into it how can I tell. I looked through Apple system profiler, but no luck. Thanks a lot.

Edit: Didn't read the headline, just the post, and answered to HD not Opical...

But my Optical Disk Type reads as CD-RW/DVD-ROM, from System Profiler:

Weird. What does it say? You are using OS 10.3?

e.g. Apple system profiler says on my G4: PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-105

OS 10.2.8

When I click on devices and volumes it says cd-rw/dvd-rom.

I guess that means it is just the combo.

I have a 12 inch powerbook rev d. my system profiler looks like this.
