Super Drive no longer works...

Worked fine running Yosemite on my 5K iMac.
After installing El Capitan, drive no longer loads a disk.

This is I think quite common after an Apple OS upgrade. First thing I would do is try and test in either a virtual machine or a dual boot scenario.
