I have a mid-2009 15" 2.66Ghz base model MacBook Pro running 10.5.8 and my super-drive is not working. When ever I try to put in a disk it doesn't feed into the machine. I don't understand why this happened, but when i turned my computer on today to try to watch a movie it didn't take the disk. I then thought, "why not do a system restore?" then i realized that it couldn't take the disk in... Any help is greatly appreciated.

The super-drive has been working fine up untill today.

*sigh* That's what I thought... I'll still hold out for another thing to try. i just recently got my display replaced and i don't want to have to go to the store 6 days after it was replaced. (And yes my drive has worked in those 6 days.)

Would I void my warranty if I were to open up my computers and make sure all of the wires are in all the way?
