I took the time to buy some new cables to replace my old USB-A cables. Here's what I bought:

USB-C to micro-b, mini-b and USB3.0. My existing USB hub will provide ports for my microphone/scanner/etc. the new micro/mini b cables will charge my Beats headphones/other devices.

USB-C To Lightning. Three of them... charging my iPad/iPhone while traveling will be super easy now.

USB-C To HDMI and VGA. Needed for presentations and to connect my external monitor.

USB-C to Ethernet. Never know when you need it while traveling.

USB-C/thunderbolt to thunderbolt 2 -- super fast transfers from my old to new MacBook Pro. Already had a thunderbolt 2 cable.

A few USB-c to USB-a adapters. For things like thumb drives...

Cost me a few dollars, but, now I'm set forever. USB-c isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
