SUPER grainy video RMBP

Hello, i have noticed that any video that i watch on my rmbp has become grainy. It wasnt like this before the last update, and it looked much clearer before. Any ideas?

Really depends on what video you're watching, some videos just have bad quality, making the retina display show the pixels more clearly, if that's what you're asking

the clarity of the retina can bring out the evil in low quality movies.
perhaps try one of the videos recorded from your high definition 1080p camcorder, the one that says mts and see if its still grainy.

Well i mean it got worse then before. It was very noticeable and even 2K video looks bad. Not resolution wise, but graininess if that makes sense
