Super Mac Pro

I just checked to see how maxed-out you can get a Mac Pro. With two 30" Cinema Displays, four 1TB drives, 32GB of RAM, 4x NVIDIA GT 120 graphics, and a few others, I got it to around $18,000. How ridiculous is this? At what point would it not even matter anymore? And...how ridiculously fast would this be?

I was talking more about maxing-out performance rather than price. Although it's pretty much hand in hand. Point is, how much more power do I get for the price of a decent car?
