iPod touch Super Monkey Ball on ipod touch

Does any one if their is a way to save your progress through the game.
It seems every time I quite the game it puts me right back to the beginning.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing, it really sucks

im guessing that when you unlock the levels it will keep that data stored but when your just doing the first island level and quit after the 4th round to do something else its a pain in the bumface to have to go all the way back to the beginning.
