Super Newbie Question - GB included in OS X?

I just bought a 2nd hand powerbook and it doesn't have garageband but it has iphoto, imovie and all the rest. Is this correct?

I always thought that the entire ilife is packaged with OSX panther.

After checking, my version of i life is 4.0.3.

Bought the PB 2nd hand which is a 12" 1.33. The previous owner bought it on May 04

I'm not 100% positive, but I think it should be included. Have you looked on the install discs that came with the laptop?

I formated away everything and reinstall osX but there was only iphoto, ical, ichat, itunes and imovies.. can't find gb

Is the install disc you have a DVD?
You might put it in and browse around, there could be a GarageBand Install somewhere
