Extremely interesting situation. I've left my X at my carrier (authorized by Apple, since no Apple store in my country), it had 2 years warranty bought from them. The device was getting unresponsive couple on times and my camera was crashing on portait mode all the time. All they did was recovering it from Itunes, saying this will fix the issues.
Now they gave it back to me like two weeks ago and brand new problems appear.
First- the device restarts overnight a couple of times- something that never happened to me with any phone that i ever had in the past.
Second- when i slide between apps some apps magically appear and dissapear like flashbacks on the screen. Extremly strange thing..
Thirdly- when i got my phone back it was factory restored ofcourse. What bugs me the most is that when i acitvated the device (without accessing to apple id, just to check how its working), the Widget widnows was full of widgets- like 7-8 already added after the factory erase.
Now my wife have X as well and i've priviously factory erased my device (not from itunes), and everytime when i set it up there are only two widgets on my leftest screen- siri suggestions and upcoming events. The time they've returned my device after itunes recover it came full of widgets- as if someone used it before or manually created them. But still device came with the Welcome screen.
The device feels odd in general.
