So what is everybody eating for the big game today?

I will probably do the staple munchies and pizza and beer

We had a brief discussion on this over on the NFL thread.

But I'm heading out to a bar/diner in central London with a group of pals.
The place is owned by a guy from Kansas City who won awards there for his BBQ. It's got awesome smokepit and does amazing ribs.

So I'll be chowing down on some of these ribs

and some of their speciality smoked wings and shrimp

He usually throws in a few extras like pizzas/nachos etc too. The bad news is that I have to wait til 10pm to start munching...

superbowl ist today ? .. thanks for this post i think i would have missed it elsewise in 5 days the winter olympics start so nfl coverage is well .. kinda limited ;) ...
perhaps i reach the half time break this time

You fat Yanks. I might actually watch a bit of the game see what all the fuss is about.

Hardly... one is the culmination of a seaon's games where one team will be declared the overall champion, the other, while it might contain the league champion, is a regular season game with no more at stake than 3 points.

And hey, I'm a Brit with more interest in the other game :p

^^ Blasphemous.

It actually has the League Champion v European Champion, first place v third place, blue v red, Lampard v Gerrard, money v less money, bad club v good club.

Thats enough hyping from me.
