So Calif
I can not for the life of me, get to a streaming service to watch the upcoming Superbowl on my AVP.

How do I "SEARCH" for the Paramount+ app on the VP App Store if there is no SEARCH field ?

This has been a very difficult morning for me and I am not a sports fan.
Just wanted to try out Paramount+ on VP for the Superbowl.

My iPhone has all the streaming apps but since this "dumb" VP that connected to my iPhone initially during setup couldn't see them, I had to change Apple IDs manually.

How silly is this VP when it was used to initially connect to my iPhone?

My phone has 2 Apple IDs - one for email & find my devices and the second is for purchased apps, media, etc..

Why can't the VP pickup both Apple IDs that are on my iPhone and use them so that I don't have log in/out each time ???

The latest guidance from Tim Cook is to buy two Apple Vision Pros for your use case.

How so? Once I logged in, it’s as easy as going to tv.YouTube.com
It’s difficult to bring up menus without inadvertently pausing the video. Mine also keeps defaulting to 480p. I’ve got to manually change it. Any way to change that? My internet speed isn’t an issue.

Paramount+ is also available in the TV app, and it even lets you stream CBS sports live.

This is definitely the “Apple” way to do this.

Just curious, since I only have one AppleID, does it work the way you want on any other device, such as a Mac, iPad or iPhone?

Do you have simultaneous access to both IDs at the same time there? Or do you also need to login/logout on those devices too?

Currently watching the Super Bowl next to my swimming pool and this photo does not do it justice.

I have the same set up with multiple Apple IDs and you have to do it manually, but you can make it work. You have to go to the settings and App Store and sign out of your other Apple ID and just sign in there with your Media Apple ID. I agree it’s a frustrating user experience, But this is definitely the type of problem that will be fixed with software revisions

YouTube tv was a disaster for the superbowl, I have used it before to watch a recorded program and that worked. Paramount works nicely but I can’t pause to align with my zoom friends on a more delayed feed so that sucks.

Trying to watch YouTube TV through safari is pretty cumbersome. I wish there was for sure going go be a dedicated YouTube app sooner than later.
How did you change the resolution manually? I can’t seem to do that at all.

So how did you like using Paramount+ for watching the Superbowl game live ?

I found it very sub par - low video quality - poor streaming experience on Paramount.

Ended up watching on my Sony Bravia OLED with much higher resolution, video quality and no streaming delays.

I'm curious to know what the benefit of using two AppleIDs on your phone is?
One ID is used for email, iCloud, and find my devices - it is on all my devices.
The other ID is used for media purchases / downloads / apps.

Separates my work and personal devices with the first ID common for all the device.

I have 2 IDs as well

After setting up the avp I went into manually change the ID for media and purchases

its worked fine ever since then.

Wondering if anyone else had this experience... I was watching the Super Bowl yesterday, streaming on Paramount+ on AppleTV and it was totally fine, but wanted to see it on the Vision Pro and was surprised that the same Paramount+ stream was not in 4K. Not even high def, it really looked low resolution like a standard TV. I know this can sometimes happen if the wifi speed is slow or the device might need time to buffer the stream, but it never got any better. I've got very fast wifi at home, never had any issue with an AppleTV+ movie or show streaming in 4K or 3D on this device. So was it Paramount limiting the feed on this version of the app? Or some limitation of the device? Or just me?

I assume that there is something wrong with the live stream feature.

This won't help people, but I ended up watching it via the Tivo app on an iPad. Yeah, it's a small screen, but it's big enough as I have a holder to put it in front of my face. Best of all, I could pause and rewind the game -- something you apparently can't do with either the CBS or Paramount+ apps (or many others, it seems).
