Hello everyone, just a probably really simple question..
I want to simply burn an audio cd, with a cd-r disk. I have done it before, and since then I have burned DVDs and such with my macbook. Recently I have went to burn an audio cd and everytime I do the programs that I have been using never reckognize that I have a blank disc in the cd drive.
however when i go to eject my disk on the top toolbar, i notice that the only thing blacked out for me to eject is "superdrive". Is this my problem?
I simply just want to burn an audio cd for my car... it's becoming a harder issue than i thought, is there a simple fix?
I have tried
-dragonburn
-expressburn
-burn
...nothing reckognizes the disk
please help :(

What exact Mac with what exact Mac OS X version do you use?
What exact CD-Rs do you use? Have you used them before?
What does Applications / Utilities / System Profiler > Hardware >> Disc Burning say?

Mac OS X
2 ghz intel core 2 duo
4 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram

i have used these cd-r's before and burnt many cds..i must have did something wrong in the last process .
when i look under system preferences there is no utilities option

I meant SYSTEM PROFILER, accessible in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Or you can access System Profiler via :apple: > About This Mac > More Info, like shown above.

Btw, how did you burn CDs and DVDs before?
