I have a 21" 2.66 GHz Intel Core Duo iMac with 4GB of Ram. It is approx 2.5 years old. I am running Lion 10.7.2
My problem is that I am trying to burn a CD in iTunes and when I have clicked on the burn button in the dialog box to burn the playlist, the little bar at the top of iTunes wizzes along once then comes up with an error message saying "The burner is in use by another application"
The trouble is i have not burnt a disc in months and I am at a loss as to how I find out which application it thinks is trying to access the burner and stop it. I have shut down and restarted with no programs open on shutdown and it still does it. Can anyone help please?

Thanks,
Juppy
