Hey im sicked because i just baught an internal superdrive. Its IDE andits made by Pioneer so im pretty sure it'll work.right? Anyway if u have tips on installing... ;)

What model Mac do you have? For tower systems, drive replacement is a lot easier than for an iMac. The details depend on the model you have.

If your computer has two drive bays, always put the SuperDrive in the top bay, because the top bay has additional cooling which is needed by the SuperDrive. You may also need to remove the front bit off the drive tray (this is easy, it basically just slides off).
