SuperDrive Performance

I've searched for opinions on this but not found any...

What kind of performance have people seen from the Air SuperDrive? Most MacBooks I've had, used a crappy Matshita drive that was picky as hell about what disks I could use. Only one had a Hitachi (I think) drive that seemed much better.

Do people find the MacBook Air SuperDrive to be picky and temperamental?

It seems to like whatever I throw at it. I have not tried any disks with the gold metal layer, but I have tried CDs and DVDs from a couple of manufacturers.
