Just a curious question from a first time Mac owner. I just got my Alum. MBP a few days ago and I was just curious if its normal that when inserting a cd into the superdrive you have to almost push it all the way in before it takes the cd? I'm kinda use to slot load disk players that grab the disk when its inserted only an inch or two like my car CD player. Also, when the disk sounds like its getting seated in the drive, the keyboard lights blink a little bit on the side of the drive. Anybody notice this?

I haven't noticed any keyboard blinking on my MBP. However the Superdrive you do have to push it in a ways before it takes the disc. I just tried mine to be sure, and sure enough about 3/4 of an inch left of disc is loaded.
If it's a brand new MBP take it to the Apple store and show them the blinking lights, maybe it's normal and I just can't see...in any case tell them you paid 2k for it and you want a perfect machine!
