Superdrive scratching DVDs?

I've noticed that recently my SD on my PB 12" 1.33 is slightly scraching my DVD's after a burn. Has anyone noticed this?

My guess is that this is not a common problem, or else I'm sure we would have heard about it.
Take it in to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Centre and get them to check that out.
