Recently I removed my data doubler from OWC, and reinstalled my SuperDrive. Upon installation I have observed a couple problems with the drive since.

-The SuperDrive won't accept discs, and I can only insert them maybe half way, the drive is recognized in disk utility, but it is greyed out.
-Additionally I have tried the drutil eject command in terminal, and found that the drive is responding.
-The drive is responding similarly as it should during start ups and shut down.

I have examined the situation to the best of my ability and can't seem to see any obstacles in the way or possible causes to my problem. I just did a fresh install of Lion and am preparing to install Mavericks, and the problem is still present.

Oh and the eject button is having no reaction as well.
