Superdrive turn around time

Does anyone know the usual time it takes to get a Superdrive replaced? I don't have a Mac store near enough to me so I'd have to send it in. Just wondering because I'd like to do it when I've got some free time, instead of not having it for work.

depends on stock availability?
if the part you are looking for is there it'll be faster etc.

It took them a week to get the part delivered, then about 2 days to do the repair. I told them that I would hold on to my MBP while they ordered the part, then dropped it off at the store once they called me and said it had arrived.
