Superdrive

I have a 2007 White Macbook. I use the superdrive frequently.

I am planning to buy a new MBP soon and am wondering...is the superdrive that's in the current (will be in the new) MBP's the exact same as the one in my 07MB or is it better quality / quieter / more reliable?

Right now any time I use my superdrive it sounds like a 747 is taking off...and that's if I can even get it to work...

I have had this laptop for almost 4 years now and I really hope there has been some improvement to the internal superdrive.

As far as I've read in the specs its the same but it could be from a different manufacturer. I know mine makes some crazy noises if I use different types of media. It says in the specs that it'll burn any type of media but mine hates + type blank media. If I put one in and try to burn I get tons of noise and usually just a coaster. When I burn with - type media my drive runs like a champ. Just a thought.
