So I installed SuperDuper, heard about it on the MacCast PodCast, wanted to give it a try and take a new method to old fashioned back up. Started with about 10GB free on the Mac HD transporting to a Clean 500GB WD External HD. So, I start seeing my Macintosh HD decreasing, and it gets down to about 100mb when I realize that its SuperDuper! causing the problem, I checked and I made sure it was copying to the External HD no a IMG or folder on the Macintosh HD. But now I have 10GB of files that I can't find, I typed in SuperDuper in Finder and couldn't find anything. Looked in all the normal obvious places....Has anyone had this issue...This is the ultimate irony when backing up...
EDIT: I'm now using Disc Inventory X to scan the HD looking for a file/folder that big that's recent...but does anyone know an easier solution or how I can back up using SuperDuper without running into this issue.
YAY: Found it with Disc Inventory X, It was under the folder "Volumes", you wont find the folder using Spotlight, so click on Finder, under the Menu click "Go", "Go to Folder", Type in "Volumes"
