I got G3 600 iBook and i was wondering of buying a 17 inch LCD, will my iBook graphic card supports it ?

It sure will, but make sure it has a VGA input. If it has DVI only you will need an adapter. Also, make sure you have the Apple VGA adapter that should have come with your iBook (I think it comes with the iBooks anyway).

Wow.....thankx for the reply.....
Then i can buy the LCD now :)

You'd be better getting a 15" LCD because 17" LCDs run at 1280x1024, which isn't supported by the iBook. 15" LCDs run at 1024x768, the native resolution of the iBook. Furthermore, the external display will mirror the internal display - they won't display different pictures.

Apparently there's an iBook video hack, but I don't know whether it allows increased resolution.

I'm *fairly* sure it does allow increased resolution... but you may want to check with someone who has actually done it before you buy.
