Okay, so I'm looking at video cards for my Mac and I'm trying to understand the full list of supported Video cards -- Nvidia based.

The Mac Pro has a PCI-E slot which means it can use a slew of high end cards, but will they work?

Looking over Apple's store site, the only cards I could find, being supplied, are the 7300GT (default) and the 7600GT (only in the high end iMac). Can I use a 7600GT in the Mac Pro? What about a 7900GT or even an 8xxx series card?

Will I need to get any added drivers if I get a 7900GT (or above) or can I? I've already looked and Nvidia doesn't supply video drivers for OSX. The closest they have is FreeBSD.

1. Any drivers you'll need are supplied with the OS X.

2. The card must be flashed for OS X. Just any card will not work (even if it is the same series).
