Hi,

Lately I've been watching a lot of Hulu, DVD's, etc on my computer hooked up to my TV. Pretty frequently, though, some sort of alert will pop up over the screen. Mostly they're Growl notifications from the Gmail notifier, or contact sync dialogue boxes from Address Book.

I know I could just disable Growl every time I watch something, but that's a hassle and still doesn't fix the Address Book problem (or whatever random program decides it needs an answer at the moment). Is there a way to suppress all notifications/pop ups/dialogue boxes while in full screen video? A google search didn't turn up anything for me, but the keywords are pretty general.

Thanks,
Asher

EDIT: Just to be clear, I don't mean that all boxes should never come up in the first place, just that they should remain under the video until I exit full screen mode.
