Hi all

I have an issue with a piece of software i'm currently using, however due to the conversion output i'm using AAC to convert songs.... and this comes from FFMpeg which is libavformat.dylib plug in...

I know its FFMpeg AAC because the same plugin is used with Audacity as part of the FFMeg package to import/export.

In any case, this file cause iTunes to bring up the "iTunes has quite unexpectedly.", but doesn't seem to harm conversion in the software, since "it" stays up, its just iTunes that re-larches..

in any case can i suppress these dialogs, since this is a modded window so it does not interfere ?

I found this: - http://apple.stackexchange.com/ques...lication-quit-unexpectedly-message-on-sigquit

which claim to disable this via Terminal, however they don't say how to un-do it.....

in fact, i can't even find this com.apple.CrashReporter after the issue happens... If its just created, them maybe just trashing it would un-do ?

Any suggestions ? I've contacted the developer of the software and is looking into it, but i also thought about maybe if i converted as MP3 instead ? since libav is FFMpeg only right so its only AAC ? However the problem is i would need to reconvert to AAC anyway after, as i want to import it into my playlists. and lossy to lossy conversion would strip out quality, so i wish to convert directly if possible.
