I want to do a test of burning a DVD in DVD Studio Pro using 5.1 surround. I download some HD trailers on Apple's website and they appear with only four sound channels. Is this correct, or am I missing something? Is there anyway I can test surround sound out on a DVD?

Thanks.

I dunno, I am getting all 6 channels of 5.1.

Hmm. When I bring the trailer into Final Cut Pro, only four audio tracks appear. Is there some kind of setting I need to enable? What would be the best way to put these on a DVD in surround?

Try the Brothers Grimm tailor, i havn't tried the others but this one definetly has 6 audio tracks.

If you just want to burn a DVD why do you need to mess w/FCP? Why not just import the file into DVD Studio Pro?

I think he eventually wants to take his own footage from FCP to DVD Studio , but he wants to try it out first with some other 5.1 audio
