I just wanna ask how many of you are using your iPhone to send and receive emails from Yahoo, Gmail, MobileMe and other accounts. How often? Also, I'd like to know the percentage of your contacts with email address.

Please answer these questions below:

I will eventually get round to adding email addresses in address book soon.

I use my iPhone to read pretty much all my GMail, I will send a few emails from the phone but nothing huge, if I need to write a long email I will do it from my MacBook or iMac as I will need to check grammar and spelling comprehensively.

Using EDGE to get email - heavy (I almost always use)

Percentage of contacts with email addresses - ~75% (though I'm sure 100% do actually have email address, I don't know them all)

Using EDGE/3G to get email (no, sometimes, heavy): Heavy while outside

Percentage of contacts with email address(es): 70%

- Other (y/n): Y (two IMAP accounts)

Using WiFi to get email (no, sometimes, heavy): Heavy at work & home
Using EDGE/3G to get email (no, sometimes, heavy): Heavy outside and in places where there's no WiFi, or you have to pay to use it.

Percentage of contacts with email address(es): About 95%

Probably my top use for the iPhone is e-mail, though web browsing is a close second.
