Screen distortion/ Loss of quality?

Purchased it for my iPad 2 last year, tried it on for size with (New) iPad and it fits perfectly...

I have the new Otterbox Defender on the new iPad 3rd Generation and the built in screen protector makes the image grainy (you can see lots of tiny dots of greens, reds, etc).

Does the screen protector in the Griffin Survivor distort the image at all?
 
Yup, it does, but that does not really bother me right now.... errrr now that you mention it.... Arrrght.....!
 
That's the only thing about heavy duty cases. The built-in screen protectors distort the screen itself. I'm thinking about purchasing a Drop Tech Series Case from Gum Drop, as it looks like the screen protector is a stand-alone piece, and you can assemble the case without it.
 
Just pop the built in ones out if you can and use high quality clear screen or none at all.
