This show has had a number of great moments. I just wish the endless slew of reality TV shows here in the states approached some of the quality on this show.

All those people who used to laugh at her aren't laughing now!

She's just brilliant! Deserves all the good fame she's getting!

We do have a version of this show in the US but I can't stand it. I do like this story tho.

I guess Cowell is going to sign her to a deal if she wins or not.

She said in an interview she lives alone with her cat, and has never had a boyfriend or been kissed.

Good for her! She was fantastic. I hope she makes it.

Me too.

According to http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/abraham/detail?entry_id=38580 she was abused and deprived of oxygen growing up, and that caused her to have a learning disability. She was then teased by her classmates at school and has always still felt stung by their comments.

Makes it even more incredible, IMO.

She sounded great, not something that I'd buy a copy of, but great all the same.

Now that Paul Potts guy from a year or two ago, he got me to appreciate opera music, and I've actually bought some of it since hearing his audition. It was that moving!

"Wild Horses"

Rather than starting up a new thread about Susan Boyle I thought I'd just add to this one. If you haven't heard her rendition of "Wild Horses" (a Rolling Stones song) -- go and listen right now! You can hear it at her website: http://www.susanboylemusic.com/music or you can hear/see it on YouTube. She will be bringing out her first album in late November, which will include "I Dreamed A Dream" and this song plus others.....

About "Wild Horses:" Gorgeous version.....reminiscent of Charlotte Martin's cover of the same song but I think even better. Definitely different from the way the Rolling Stones present it!
