Suspend Growl notifications while app is running?

I'm looking to find if there's a way to suspend Growl notifications while a specific app is running. Specifically, I use Plex fairly regularly to play back videos on my TV, but the Growl notifications popping up over the video get very annoying. If I could just either put them on hold or have Growl not display notifications while Plex is running, it would be very nice. I want control over this functionality, though, and not just have it not show over any full-screen apps, because obviously that would reduce the overall utility of Growl.

Any ideas?
