Suspicious folders appeared!?

I've just noticed two new folders that are on my HD - Apple and INBOX?

They both contain just on folder called Messages and this is empty?

Any ideas? I'm assuming it will be safe to delete these?

have you exported mailboxes from mail or something like that?
