.SVG Converter

I have some .svg Vector Graphics files I need converted to another image file (.png, .jpg, .pdf). I have no needs to edit the .svg files... I just want to convert them to high-resolution pixel-based images.

Does anyone know of any SIMPLE, FREE solutions?

i saw InkScape, but i really don't want to waste several hundred MB on this for that X11 "upgrade" plus the program itself. there must be a simple, small app that opens .svg files...

If you're not afraid of the command line, you could use the rasterizer of the Batik project:

Scribus may be an alternative if you need a GUI, but it doesn't work with every SVG file.

/edit: if you only have to convert a couple of SVGs, an online solution might be enough, like this
